Shrink Film
Shrink film is a plastic film which has a tendency to shrink when exposed to heat or hot air. This film, in the process, packs the item that is put inside it to form a wrinkle-free surface on it thereby protecting the product from dust, scratches or other in-transit hazards.
PVC Shrink Film
This is the most common of all the shrink films as it is a combination of gloss and cost-efficiency. Also, owing to the wide range of sizes that this film can be made in, it is suitable for a variety of products starting from cutlery, floor-wipers, medicines right upto gas stoves and sheet-metal products.
LD Shrink film
LD or PE shrink film, is a combination of strength and endurance while compromising a bit on the aesthetics. As a result, this kind of shrink film is used mostly at places where the demand is more of strength rather than the aesthetics. A suitable example of this would be the beverages and aerated drinks industry where this film has replaced card board boxes and has given visibility to the products.
POF Shrink film
Polyolefin shrink film is the latest entry in the field of shrink films. It combines the strength of LD shrink and aesthetics of PVC shrink film. This film is soft in touch, has higher shrinkage and is glossy. Being food grade, adds to the wide applicability of the film.
